Do you agree with Plan B?

in my opinion I think plan b is wrong because I am pro life. any one else pro life?

It's not abortion though. It says on the package "will not harm an existing pregnancy." That means if your are pregnant and you do take it, nothing will happen to the baby. Nothing.

Sperm can live in you for up to five days. Taking plan b doesn't kill a baby it just prevents the sperm left over from getting to the egg. Like a hormonal "condom."

I don't like the idea of abortion. But I don't have the right to tell a girl who was raped by her father that she needs to carry his baby. That isn't my right or my businesses

I don't care if you are pro life. You should be educated in whatever stance you take. And if you think plan b kills a baby your not educated

Being pro life or pro choice has nothing to do with plan B. It doesn't cause an abortion. It only helps to prevent an egg from being fertilized. If the egg is already fertilized plan b doesn't get rid of it. I really dislike the pro-lifers who try to spread this nonsense. Get some education and really learn how things works.

I am also pro life but plan b isn't an abortion it keeps the egg from being fertilized and attaching to the uterine wall. Plan b will only work till 3 days after unprotected sex and will not abort an already conceived baby.

I do not see how a preventative medicine would go against being Pro Life?
I am personally Pro Life myself. But that in no ways gives me control of others bodies

I voted yes to agreeing with Plan B. I am not pro life or pro choice. You want an abortion? Fine. You don't? Fine. It's not my place, or anyone else's for that matter, to judge a woman who has decided to have an abortion.

Plan B is not, I repeat NOT an abortion pill, it acts like a birth control pill in PREVENTING a pregnancy. I have had to take Plan B once (I took Take Action, a generic version. Same medication, same dose, different name and $10 cheaper), and I talked to my gynecologist, and the pharmacist about what the pill. When an egg is fertilized by sperm you are not pregnant. You are not pregnant until a fertilized egg implants in your uterine wall. Plan B can delay/prevent ovulation, interfere with fertilization, and possibly interfere with implantation. The abortion pill, RU-486, is used at 5-7 weeks and kills a baby whose heart has begun to beat. You can be hospitalized by taking this pill the wrong way.

Plan B consists of a drug called levonorgestrel, a synthetic progestogen, used in common hormonal contraceptives.

RU-486 consists of a drug called Mifepristone, a synthetic steroidal antiprogestogen, it's pregnancy category? US: X, used for terminating pregnancy.

If you're pregnant and take Plan B, it will not terminate your pregnancy, RU-486 on the other hand will before 7 weeks, after and your child could have deformities or a disability.

If more people payed attention in school (if they went), or even did their own research on things like this we would have women swearing up and down that Plan B is an abortion pill. We not only need to educate the children in our society but the adults as well.

Just to clarify  you asked two completely  different  questions  but only give two reasonable  answers... I am for the plan b pill because life hasn't formed yet there is not "abortion" in it you are simply taking precautions  against creating a life just like birth control...
