Ectopic pregnancy and fertility

Hi! I'm new to Glow! Two years ago exactly I was pregnant... Not knowing that it was an ectopic pregnancy. The doctor thought I had a miscarriage (I was 7 weeks) and even after two ultrasounds, never saw the baby in my left tube! It ruptured and caused the worst pain of my life!! They were able to save 1/3 of my tube and reattach the overie... Now my husband and I are finally ready to try again after that traumatic experience...and have been TTC for 3 months/cycles with no luck yet. I know it can take longer for some, but I'm worried that I may have issues because of the ectopic two years ago! The doctor said it shouldn't affect my fertility since he was able to save it, but I'm concerned with scar tissue or maybe it not working like it should. Any advice or ladies with similar situations?!
