Pain during sex?

I got on the Depo shot 5 days ago (it was within the first 3 days of my period it went into effect immediately) but now every time SO and I have sex it hurts. Could the shot be the cause of this?

yes. I've been on the shot for almost 2 years. & after my second shot I started having painful intercourse. & I've gained 35 pounds.

Yes. Be careful using the depo shot. I've heard nothing but horror stories about it. People having a really hard time getting pregnant after using the shot. Doctors say it can take up to a year for fertility to come back after using it. Weight gain, acne, etc. :/
