Cramping at night?

Is it normal to experience more cramping at night? I'm 5weeks along with my first and I've noticed I feel the cramp-like pressure moreso when I'm laying down getting ready for bed then during the day. Any insight would be helpful.

I'm just entering my second trimester, but in my first I experienced the same. Every night I would have a weird pressure in my abdomen, and light cramping. If it's just light with no bleeding that's normal, if you feel it's too much to bear contact your doctor. It has now stopped for me, I'm feeling much better, and sleeping better :)

I have been experiencing the same. It wakes me up at night and I have it more mildly throughout the day.

I got terrible cramps in the first trimester at night. I don't remember any during the day but I was so sick during the day my first trimester that's mostly what I can remember.

My first trimester involved a lot of cramping every day. I worried everyday thinking that my period was coming but it turns out it was completely normal. I'm 31 weeks now and still stress if I don't feel him move when he usually does. I would say your perfectly fine, don't stress unless you start bleeding heavily. Good luck to you!
