I did not know that oral sex from your man could potentially give you a yeast infection. I never had a problem before because some partners did not like oral, or just went down for a few minutes. My partner went down on me for the longest any man ever has and then I got a yeast infection that has yet to completely go away. It's just very slightly itchy now (sorry if that's tmi). I had never had an infection before and did some research and now I am pretty certain I got the infection because of oral sex. Apparently the same "Candida" that is found in our lady bits also is found in the mouth and when someone goes downtown, the candida can become imbalanced and cause a yeast infection. I was curious if anyone else experienced a yeast infection after receiving oral from their partner and what you do now to avoid it/best treat it.
