They really give you everything. I've always only brought a going home outfit, a few diapers for the ride home, and the car seat. This time I am bringing a couple of muslin swaddlers blankets, because I have bigger babies and they are bigger for swaddling. I am also bringing the blanket I made him. They have shirts and stuff for the baby, so you don't need anything much, unless you really want to.

I kept my first naked the entire stay, only used the blanket. Honestly you don't need much of anything for the baby. I have one going home outfit and her car seat.... That's basically it! The hospital gives you everything else!
