I wasted over 4 years with my ex because I convinced myself he'd change his mind on kids. I was young and naive, and surprise--when he said he didn't want kids, he meant it. I eventually realized he wasn't going to change so I'd either have to leave or give up on my dream to be a mom. I left. It was incredibly difficult, but fast forward 5 years and I'm happily married and due with our first any day!

I think it's something that's you'd need to discuss early in relationship. Everyone's different.

I believe if you love him and he loves you then regardless of his thoughts on children it shouldn't change the feelings towards the relationship. I'd say it's a different story if you got pregnant without trying and he just wanted nothing to do with the pregnancy or the child. But sometimes if he's not ready and he says "never" there has to be some patience because if you have strong feelings for each other his opinion on having children could change.

Do they just don't want kids with you or in general? If they don't want kids in general and you do then do what feels best but if they want kids just not with you than no.
