Different symptoms different gender?

I am almost 18 weeks with our second, and I am having completely different symptoms than I had with our first. I keep saying I bet it's a girl this time because our first is a boy and I feel so different but I was wondering if this was actually true for anyone?

Nope. We thought the same thing and in our situation it turned out to be a different girl, that's all. Baby girl#2 on the way:)

It's been true for me as well first was a girl and now a boy and I've even developed dry skin all over my face with this one which I never got with my daughter

I will say it has been true for me.  With my daughter, I had horrible morning sickness (like month straight, puking up everything), broke out like crazy, and had tons of problems during my pregnancy.  With this pregnancy, I've had no morning sickness, haven't been breaking out, pretty much no pregnancy symptoms - minus missing my period, gaining weight, etc. I was totally convinced I was having a boy this time around and we found out three weeks ago it's a boy!
