I'm 35 (AMA) and 9.5 weeks pregnant with twins. I have been seeing my RE so far (had an US on Friday) but today was the 1st appointment with the OB. She was very nice, informative and thorough (we had plenty to do and talk about) so I didn't even notice until I got home that she never even tried to listen to their heartbeats. They told me I probably wouldn't have an US since I have already been having them, but I expected her to at least check for heartbeats with the doppler....is this normal to not do at this stage or did she just forget??
