Definitely depends. After my last breakup with my first bf...of over 3 years...I was "talking" to someone days after. By the end of the month, we were officially together. He'd been my best friend for 4.5 years. He's now been my best friend for 7.5 years and we're married. :) People thought he was a rebound...but not so much. So moral of the story, its definitely situational!

It really depends on the situation. When I was 18 I got out of an 8 month relationship and 2 weeks later I started dating my best friend who I had been in love with since I was 14. We got married last October. For me it was not a rebound. I wasn't upset about the breakup, I knew what I wanted and who I wanted to be with and I wasn't going to let the opportunity pass me by.

Depends I was with my ex for 8 yrs and started talking to my now fiance right before we finally ended it and im so happy with my fiance when everyone thought I was just looking for a rebound. 1 yr and counting
