After my 39 week prematal all only measured 33 fundal height. They though it was just the baby dropping but sent me for an u/s just to be safe.
The u/s showed that baby stopped growing as 35 weeks (placenta stopped doing its job) I have no medical history, had an active pregnancy, and it just happened.
To avoid risk of still birth the docs recommended induction. So I'm sitting here tied up to the fetal heart monitor waiting to go into active labour. At 7 am I was 1cm and thick, so I know labour is going to take an eternity. 30-40 second contractions every 5 minutes for last 24 hours and still going. Hopefully will be enough this time for some progress by 7pm.
If no progress by 7pm will probably go for a section. Either way my husband and I are super excited to meet our little baby it doesn't matter how he or she comes out as long as she is alive.
