I NEED advice!!!

So about a month or so ago I met a guy at a school event.  We hit it off in an instant and we spent the whole day together, talking about so many interesting things, amazing connection and I would occasionally catch him looking at me when "I wasn't looking" he evn asked for my number that day and have me ride to where I needed to go. For two weeks I never got a text from him and not going to lie, but I was upset and wondering what happened. We go to the same school, so I casually went through where he told me his class was and found him ( a little too stalkish lol)  When he saw me from far away, he kept staring at me, and when I got closer I smiled and he smiled and I went to say Hi, and he greeted me with a big tight hug. And he said it was so nice to see you again, So then I asked him like what happened, why he never texted me and he said I did send your text, so it turned out I gave him the wrong number. When I left to my class he said it was so nice to see you today So then we started texting and told me I worried about you, I wondered about the interesting and beautiful girl I met, but idk, he seems so different and so cold and he takes a periods of time to answer me back. What should I do??! Please help me girls!
