When did you announce?

Hi all mamas! So happy we all are pregnant again! I MC dec 3 2014 and it was my first pregnancy. I took it very  hard. Baby measured around 7w 1d when I MC. We didn't tell anyone minus a few close close friends because I am a firm 12 week believer. And after my experience I was even more. Well we got pregnant again 2 WEEKS later due to my wonderful husband not following instructions lol. And now I'm so thankful for that. We were blessed with this sweet baby and I am now 14w 2d and baby's heartbeat is in the 150s. We announced on my 14th week and I was still nervous. When did you ladies announce after loss?

I wanted to celebrate this pregnancy after losing my first at only 6 weeks, so I announced the day after I found out.. Which was at 4 weeks + 2 days. Whether I had another miscarriage or not, I wanted to celebrate every second I had with this baby. I'm now 23 weeks + 1 day along. (:

I waited until 14 weeks to tell family and then slowly started telling friends as I saw them or talked to them.  It was tough to share after having experienced a MC at 8 weeks.  Now 27 weeks, finally feeling less paranoid and excited/anxious about this babies arrival!  Share the news when you are ready...it's hard after going through a MC.

I had a mmc in October. We weren't going to announce until after 12 week us. We didn't find a heartbeat and were devastated. Afterwards I was so glad for the people we did tell. To have them for support. There is no greater support than those that have been with you the whole way. So now (4w6d preg) we have been telling people sooner. And trying to enjoy every second. I would rather be happy and joyful and have the world know and then have a loss than to keep it secret again.

I told family at 12 weeks, and a close friend & hubby before that. We have yet to announce to the world, although we've slowly told more and more people. We are announcing to the world after we find out the sex of the baby

I didn't announce until I was 20 weeks and knew the sex of the baby(I'm now 26 weeks).... Last year in jan I announced I was pregnant only to have my beautiful baby boy pass away at 17 weeks so this time I just waited until I had all my test results back and was 5 months but you should tell people when you feel comfortable with sharing this wonderful news!! Don't stress over it 😊💗

This was just my personal experience, but I waited until I was 16 weeks. This was partly due to being terrified of MC again and my ex-fiance and I split before I found out I was pregnant bc he apparently likes to sleep with other women while away with the Army. My delay wasn't really due to being scared but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to be happy, if that makes sense. I was single and pregnant and on top of pregnancy hormones I was sad because a 4 year relationship just ended. I am also high risk due to a heart condition I have, so that played into me waiting. Now I'm beyond ecstatic to meet my son come August and I am glad I waited the extra time to announce bc I felt like it gave my son and I time to bond more! I'm happy all of you have little one's on the way too! What has helped me most from my MC and this pregnancy, is I believe God knew that I needed my angel baby in my life for a reason and while I didn't get to love that little one long, God prepared me to love and cherish this little one even more because I truly know how precious and delicate these little babies we grow inside our bodies are! I hope I didn't offend anyone by talking about my faith, I was just saying what has helped me. I'm sorry if I did, and I wish all of you lots of love!

With my first pregnancy, a few months ago, I announced to my parents at 6 weeks because I couldn't hold it in any longer. We didn't even have a chance to tell my in-laws though, because I started miscarrying hours after my parents. Now I'm pregnant again (trying not to let the anxiety get to me but failing) and won't tell our immediate families until I have a sonogram in hand, maybe will tell my boss around the same time if my morning sickness is bad, and won't tell other people until 1st trimester is over.

My mom had just died when we found out so sensitivity was high all around. We have lossd 5 times. We told my dad at 14 weeks but because i have epilepsy, I did tell my sister at 5 weeks. We haven't announced to the world yet and I'm waiting unti viability to find out the sex. It's all sooo personal😊
