What do you do if your SOs tongue taste bad during kissing? (Serious question)

My boyfriend is mad in a way that I, which I am embarassed about and miserably failed at, tried avoiding tongue kissing. He's now embarassed about kissing me and I don't know what to do.

His tongue just has this..I brushed my teeth but it ain't help, taste. I can't stand it sometimes and I don't know how to tell him that I don't like tongue without hurting his feelings, more than what they are. He has a lot of pride..and he loves tongue kissong. Any suggestions?

If you can't even talk to him about oral hygeiene, how are you ever gonna talk to him about anything significant?

Kissing is very important to me, therefore oral hygiene is too. I would be honest. Get a tongue scraper or just tell him he needs to brush his tongue. If it doesn't help he needs to see a dentist.

Get him some listerine and tell him you thought he would like "this new flavor". My husband has that too sometimes. So I just tell him to go swish. I know it's embarrassing and hard not to feel bad, but it's so much easier to be honest.

Tell him to brush his tongue. The tongue holds the most bacteria in the mouth. It could be because he has dry mouth. Get listerine without alcohol in it.

Does he smoke or drink a lot of coffee or soda all of those will leave a nasty film kind of like plaque on the tongue. Does he brush his tongue? They also have tongue scrapers. If its just the tongue thats an easy fix.

If serious oral hygiene does not solve the bad taste he might need to see a doctor/oral hygienist as certain bacteria can cause a nasty film on the tongue. Like bacterial vaginitis that smells awful but doesn't make you FEEL sick, he might have a tongue thing and not even know it. Good luck, be sensitive but honest, make sure he understands you're on his side and you WANT to like his tongue so what are you going to do together to solve it :)
