Can implantation happen 1-2 days before expected period?

Question

I'm 9dpo and have a 10-11 day luteal phase. Af due the March 20/21. I just saw some pink/brown discharge. Very small amount in underwear and nothing when I wiped

I didn't see any spotting until after my missed period and a positive test so I guess it's possible!

I also had about 3 days of spotting on my days I was suppose to start af on March 12 just on toilet paper had a lot of eggwhite MC as well didn't even need any panty liner but af never showed 
Thinking if it could of been implantation but I just went in wendsday to get blood work got results in today but they said being at 
2 mIU/ml is was a negative
