Possible spotting after a pap?

Yesterday I had my first appt in 5 weeks 3 days today and had a pap done which was painful bc I had a student do it so it took longer then usual and tonight I noticed like tinted paste like mucous on my underwear not a lot but it still freaked me out and hoping it's bc of yesterday anyone else experience that?

Yes it's common to spot after a pap while pregnant, similar to spotting after intercourse because the cervix is more sensitive. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it continues.

When I had mine done I spotted, then again when I had a colposcopy

Yes I was the same and actually had to wear a pad for the rest of the day.

I had a pap on Wednesday and the said that spotting and such is completely normal. The cervix is easily irritated. Call if it becomes heavy.

When I had my pap, they told me bloody discharge was completely normal!
