First doctors appointment

I am a little nervous. I have been on my period for 17 days...yes two and a half weeks. I have an appointment in a week and I am so nervous I can't take it. My husband and I have been TTC for 8.5 months and I am starting to get really frustrated. Any thoughts or ideas for anyone would be very much appreciated! Baby dust to you all!
