I just want to know if those tests are just as good as frer or is it mostly for once you've missed your period?

I took a dollar store test this morning. It was very faint positive so I bought a digital test and it came back pregnant. I am 3 days before my period

I took a clear blue and a first response test and they were negitive then took the 88 cent Walmart one and it was positive and detected it before the others I was amazed try the cheap ones.
