Infant Congestion

Our two week old seems very congested in his throat and chest. I've been trying to clear his nose out and nothing comes out. He grunts a lot and makes noises that really sound like he's congested and can't get the best breaths. I've been reading about humidifiers and we have a warm most. Does anyone have any experience with this issue and what did you find to be helpful in the way of humidifiers? Cool or Warm Mist?
