Me and my bf are ttc... question

I know some women will put a pillow under them after they bd to keep the semen in them longer. My bf doesn't want me to do that so after we bd he stays inside me for a few minutes after we do the deed to keep semen in me longer. What methods to you all use to keep semen inside longer? What has been more effective to become pregnant?
