My son had his 9 month checkup yesterday & his pediatrician said she had to look at his privates so for us to remove his diaper. She just touched his testicles & pushed up his forskin (he has been circumcised). It was so quick I didn't think to ask what she was looking for & my husband was the one holding him while my vision was blocked by the doctors back so I didn't see how she pulled the skin but  with his diaper change later that afternoon I noticed it was red. Now this morning I've been able to associate his crying to his penis being sore & it definitely has my husband concerned. It's still super inflamed/red & the office is closed on Fridays so I can't call them to ask. I've tried googling but nothing is specific to this during a checkup. I don't know if she had to keep the skin up since he was circumcised? Idk? This is our first child /boy & most men, to ask, were too young to remember or other mothers can't remeber so far back. Is there anyone who can answer my question & maybe have advice to help with the soreness?
