Baby Boy or Baby Girl???

Question

At my first ultrasound, the heartbeat was 164 per minute...what do you guys think I'm having? Do you all believe in the Chinese gender calendar and the heartbeat thingy lol

Heartbeat and Chinese Calendar were completely wrong with me lol! HB was 160 at my first appt (suggesting girl) and the calendar stated I was definitely having a girl also. In fact, ALL the old wives tales said I was having a little girl but I'm most definitely having a little BOY and I couldn't be more excited for him! Don't get set on one gender, both have their pros and both have their cons haha but they are both absolutely wonderful! Congrats on your pregnancy!!!

Heartbeat and Chinese gender prediction are each a 50/50 chance of a boy or girl. Totally unreliable for predicting gender. If you happen to have the gender you want based on any of those predictions, it's just because you had a 1:2 chance anyway. In two pregnancies my boys have both had high heartbeats and the silly Chinese prediction (for fun!) said I would have girls. Take it with a grain of salt. Babies love to keep us in suspense and on our toes! :)

Mine was 170s in the beginning then dropped down to 140 and below... Doesn't always work! 😫 sorry
