After I wiped I panicked and called my doc. The nurse said to watch for heavy bleeding and clots with cramping. I have had no cramps, no clots, and no bleeding since that bathroom trip. Not a drop of blood. My appt is on wed. It is going to drive my crazy waiting! : / anyone have anything similar?

No. I used to be an LD nurse and old blood is ok in moderation. Bright red blood is not okay and you should see your doctor. Congrats!!!

I had this happen to me at around 7 weeks and I went for an early scan and everything was ok I'm now 11 weeks don't stress hun it's common and once it's not bright red and cramps you should be fine x

I had brown spotting with a light amount of bright red blood when I was 7 weeks. I called my doctor and they got me in right away for an ultrasound. Turned out I had a blood clot in my uterus. I probably wouldn't have known at all if I hadn't been playing volleyball 2-3 times a week at the time. Spotting is TOTALLY normal do don't freak out (sorry if this scared you!) but if you get bright red blood, call the doc right away. If they don't get you in immediately after that, then I'd say get a new doctor!

It's pretty common!  As stated before, as long as you don't have bright red you are fine. If you notice a lot more brown ask to have your progesterone levels checked.

Did you have sex recently? Spotting after sex during pregnancy is very common. You have double the blood volume so bruising the cervix or tearing your vaginal lining are more common, causing mild spotting/ bleeding. Don't resume sex until the spotting has subsided.
