When did you tell your parents & parents in law you're pregnant?

When & how did you tell your family & in laws that you are pregnant? I don't know when I should tell mine. I'm 4 weeks along & I'm kind of already giving out clues that I'm pregnant but no one is catching on.

We found out on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day I gave them their "gift." I bought little baby dolls from the dollar store. Wrapped them up and gave it to them. Said their Christmas gift is something they always wanted and will cherish forever. Did this separately for my folks then for my in laws. The moment they realized what they were unwrapping was a little doll and the looks on their faces when they figured it out was absolutely priceless 😊

We told our parents after we had the first ultrasound (9w 6d). We had the pictures face down and said nonchalantly said that I got some pictures developed that we wanted them to see. Nothing extravagant; they were really surprised and happy!

We waited until my first appointment and ultrasound at 10 weeks. Gave both sets of parents grandparent books, Little Critter goes to Grandma's and Berenstein Bears. 😊 Wrote "babt Last name due" in the belongs to section and a copy of the ultrasound inside the cover. They loved it.

We found out on dec. 22 and waited to tell them until Christmas Day. We live 1400 miles away so we had to call my parents but could FaceTime my husbands family.

We told our parents immediately! We gave his mom her bday present early. We gave her a pandora bracelet! I bought both our moms a baby carriage charm. We took a video of his moms reaction and it was priceless! My mom and I are very close and my mom thought I was pregnant before I even tested! She was happy but not as surprised!

We gave the rest of the family and posted on social media this photo. We had a snow storm the day after we found out and it was perfect
timing!

We waited until 12 weeks. Everyone feels different about this I guess. I just knew that my mom wouldn't be able to keep it a secret and if we'd lost the baby I couldn't have handled telling too many people.

We did IVF and my mom is my best friend so I was with her when I got the call that my blood test was positive she was right there and there was no hiding it because I immediately started bawling. Then my husband called his parents.
