Am I the only one who doesn't care?

Question

A lot of women get so mad when people comment on how big they're getting... I don't really care. In fact I find it amusing and kind of endearing when people say I'm getting big. I know they mean I'm not fat...
I'm actually curious why people are so bothered by it?

I get annoyed primarily bc I've beem told numerous times I'm huge for 19 weeks and there's no way my body will survive or that my son is going to ruin my body!. I  don't get annoyed when people say I'm big and they mean it in a caring way or just saying it without thinking. But sometimes people can be rude with how they talk , about your bump lol! I've gained 4lbs my entire pregnancy and pre pregnancy I was extremely fit, toned/skinny so my bump is all baby! I don't mind getting huge though lol especially if it's for my baby(:

I don't mind when people comment on my bump! However, it DOES bother me when people tell me I'm "too big" for where I am in my pregnancy.

I get annoyed at people saying I'm small for blah weeks, where's your bump!? Can't wait for you to get fat!, what's going on where's your tummy, all just on school drop offs and pickups! ... Annoying. Wish I didn't even tell them I was pregnant! Not to mention , as soon as they know... You become "the pregnant one" and you are no longer any good to talk about anything other than the baby & your pregnancy... Meh! 😒

Honestly I like it! My husband just told me wow dear your belly is getting big! And I smiled and said thank you lol like yes I'm carrying this growing little boy!

I think the problem is when people comment with such things 'oh gosh you're big for XX months...' 'By the end you'll be huge if you keep going the way you are' 'so will the growth slow down as your pretty big for xx months'
I love getting bigger for baby - usually I'm an American size 0 or UK size 6 snd it doesn't bother me that very few of my normal clothes fit I love getting bigger each month! I've never had to worry about weight gain but infact the opposite as I have IBS but I don't appreciate people commenting about my size and saying I'm too big or bigger than they thought I'd be - unless they're professional trained doctors then they should think about how their comments sound...and especially considering some women will have had weight worries before getting pregnant x

My fiancé calls me chubby(just my belly because I've actually lost weight) but it doesn't bother me. Strangers have been noticing it now and when they say something about it, it catches me off guard and I'm like "how do you know I'm just not fat?" Haha.

I get concerned when people say I'm small only because I worry about everything but in general I really don't care.

I don't mind it! I am little and always have been! My belly is getting big but I have not gained any extra weight so I know I am taking care of myself! Good luck I  sure you are doing awesome!
