I am 39 weeks pregnant. I have been very gassy from home cooked meals the family has made for us. I just went to the bathroom to pee and let out a loud fart. When I looked in the toilet there was a long strand of mucus, white/with a slight greyish discoloration. It would make more sense if it came from the vagina as it looks a lot like the mucus plug, but I think it came from my butt. I have been seeing slight mucus on my bowel movements which have all been normal. But I also peed yesterday and there was a tiny pea sized bit of my mucus plug which was pure white. I have an appointment this wednesday, which I will bring up to the doctors attention. Can they check the mucus plug at all?? Anyone experiencing mucus from both holes too? I dont have anal leakage or anything, just it being over my past few bowel movements.
