How do you "relax"?

Everyone says relax while ttc. Well obviously that is easier said than done. The thought of TTC has taken over! Does anyone have any special tips? I'm staring my first round of clomid on my next cycle which is about a week and a half away. If anyone has any relaxation tips they use and don't mind to share - please feel free! Thanks, Ladies!!

I'm starting my first round of clomid in a few days too. TTC #1 for 2 years now, with family and coworkers all in a constant state of asking "so when are you having a baby?" It took me a year and a half to figure out the whole relaxation thing. My doctor even told me I'm a little too relaxed now. When I had my HSG done I didn't feel a thing and had no side affects (as I understand it, this is as rare as unicorns). But I stopped worrying so much about my "what if I'm pregnant baby". All those things you worry about doing because you 'might' be pregnant. My husband has also helped by taking on more responsibility around the house and just keeping my mind occupied. Do yoga, drink wine, excercise. And do what ever you need.

I went and did a mindfulness course before I went through IVF. It's very basic idea is that you need to stop worrying about things you can't change and just accept reality. Hard I know and I'm a born worrier so 'relax' is a foreign concept to me. It is true and kind of liberating though to realise that there's really nothing you can do about most stuff so you might as well stop stressing about it. 
A lot of it is meditation too, which you should try and do daily, focussing on your breathing and so at least temporarily shutting out all the things that are making you stressed. 
In general also just doing things you enjoy, taking a relaxing bath, a walk, whatever it is to calm your mind. Good luck x

This is my second round of clomid and I'm having the same issue. It's so hard to relax, especially when trying to be intimate. Everything seems just so planned and timed out. Wish there was a way to just zone out and not think about it.

I mess with the dog, horse or my daughter. Going on walks can be relaxing too. Let me know if you find something that works for you. Good luck I'm starting back on clomid this next cycle.
