Where I live, getting married is not an acceptable reason to legally change your name. You can apply for it, but the government might reject it.

I didn't necessarily change my last name, I  just added his onto mine!

Been married for three years and still haven't. So much work but I'm actually going to try and do it this year. One of my main goals...lol

I have been married almost 2 and am dragging my feet on changing my name but I'm going to have to unless my husband wants to change my name with the military at this point

It took me a year to change mine. It's a lot of paperwork and emails haha
