STD or Overreacting?

I had unprotected Sex w/ a guy who swore he did not have STDs because he's a football player and they do routine testing for them to make sure they don't have anything. We had sex like 4 times and now i think i may be just panicking I don't know but, the last time I had sex, during sex it was this kind of inflammed sensation but i have no itching, burning, or abnormal discharge and i only feel the inflammed feeling during sex. Thats it, not afterwards or later on in the day. Women with STDs often experience what? Im also going for a checkup today justi to clear my mind .
