Is Riley more of a girl or boys name?

The only name my boyfriend and I agree on for our little girl is Riley (we would spell it Rylee). When we told his mother the name we got " that's a boy name" so now we can't decide. I've never heard of it as boys name but I'd like some opinions please!?
