What do y'all think about emergency contraception? ?

I've had problems with forgetting my birth control, I'll ask people's advice && they say to get emergency contraception pills . But my mom has taught me that they are basically abortions(just my personal opinion I don't believe in abortion but I don't judge people who believe in it, everyone is there own) I was just wanting some feed back .

Plan B is not an abortion. An abortion is terminating a pregnancy and plan B is preventing a pregnancy from occurring. I think that plan B has a pourpose but it's not a subsitute for birth control. If you can't remember your pill maybe you should look into something else such as Nuva ring, shot, or an IUD even.

They are NOT aborting!! You are preventing the pregnancy... There is no fetus. Hence the name emergency CONTRACEPTION. If you were pregnant the fetus would NOT be affected by you taking the pill. I don't even know where to start with this.
