Anyone planning their baby shower? How's it going?

Oh I understand how that is mine is the same way the all want there opinion and it there way but don't want to help get anything done or even help finiacially

I will just give them each others emails and pray. Love them both but both are opinionated butts. :-)

Good except I have 3 moms to deal with and my MIL Is nuts. My mom is a little crazy (she wants her friends whom I don't know invited one is coming and I actually know her so whatever). My step mom is awesome and my rock haha. My MIL is CRAZY! All began with the invites, she asked each mom to help host and to contribute $500 each because she refused to have it at my moms house (told me she wanted neutral grounds, even though my bridal shower was there last year, whatever), so we had to go look at venues (that process alone she was caught in lies, I did all the work) then she sent the evite out with out my mothers names on it, even though they are hosting too. My mom went to change it because it had NO info (hosts names, not even my name on it, no parking info, no theme info, oh and she tried changing that the theme too, and my registry link went to her email, wtf! ) she flipped out. I ended up making the changes. And told her to deal with it. Then she decided we were having unlimited mimosas, neither my husband or I drink so...this to us was a waste, it's a all women's brunch not a bbq. No alcohol is okay. She told my moms that I insisted on it. Lol. Nope. I actually removed it from the original evite when I made initial changes that fixed her lie pretty quick lol. She's in charge of games and prizes and actually told both of my moms that she thought they had already picked out all of the games and prizes and wernt telling her. At one point I flipped and went off on my hubs about her and we had a 3 way phone convo not only was this stuff happening but the way she talks to my mothers is extremely rude! I told her I want it easy and no hassle. The shower is this Sunday, this past weekend she was complaining to my husband that none of her people will be there and why does she have to pay! Well last I checked all your family was invited and they declined because of who knows why. But this is my baby shower and I still have friends and family who I invited of course.

No surprise as her family hardly comes for my events, and she is single so it's just her and she didn't even show up for my bridal shower last year. Whatever. Now she's complaining about kids. I have a daughter from a previous relationship and told her from the get go I want her included as she was excluded from her stepmom s baby showers. I had told her about 5 kids. Now the head count was needed last Monday and it turns out that my cousins decided to bring their kids (under 2 and free) and she flipped because the kid count went up by 4. They are free!! Wtf. And it was after my mom told her that my cousins kids hadn't been accounted for. She still flipped on me not understanding how it went from 5 to 9. Well now there are 13 kids and she has to deal with it. I'm over it. It's my shower and my moms are paying too. She says she is trying to budget but at this point what she asked everyone to put aside is about double the cost we are at so she needs to calm down. Now I have some bleeding and am in the hospital, my mom sent an email saying that they may want to see if there's a penalty to change date if necessary. My MIL text my husband immediately saying that my mom wants to cancel it. No she specifically said I just want to check the penalty, and see if she gets out of the hospital etc...I honestly think she's got a communication problem, she's bipolar, and she doesn't listen and then goes off at the drop of a dime. There have been instances with other family members where she's a witch when she doesn't get her way, yes she even called CPS on her other son at one point, case was closed, but that's a whole other story. I'm very thankful and very happy for this shower, but I seriously do not understand why everything is always difficult with her. Ok end rant, sorry I went on so much! How are your plans going?
