Why in the world...

... Is it so hard to find a birth story in the 'birth stories' section??? No offense to all of the girls asking questions and all but when they aren't even related to giving birth shouldn't they be asked somewhere else? I have to literally search and pick through every post to find an actual birth story.

Well how about we tell them now

It was the day after my doctor appointment (Thursday January 7th 2015) had an induction date set for Monday, because I was 5cm and 70-80% effaced and my son was so low it felt like a bowling ball was between my legs! I had been out all day walking with my sister and about noon I got home and went pee and noticed bright red blood, decided to call my doc and see what she had to say. They told me I needed to come down to Labor and delivery just to be on the safe side. So I had my sister come and pick me up,called my hubby on the way so he can be there with me. But as soon as I got there the took me back and hooked me up to the think that tracks the babies heart and shows my contractions, I was having so pretty big ones but not feeling anything!! And I was now 6cm! So they weren't about to send me home. So I get my gown on and walk to my delivery room! This was about 2:30pm. I get settled get my IV and about 4:00pm my doctor comes I and starts cracking jokes that I couldn't hold my baby in until Monday. (She knew I might not of made it) so she says they are going to get ready and break my water it was 4:25 when they broke it. and just let everything start its own course. And about 4:39 i was feeling every contraction! I was in serious pain forgetting to breath, shaking! 5:00pm I wanted the epidural I could hold out any longer! So they got me all ready for that, was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I didn't feel a thing! And about 5mins I could not feel boobs down. And everyone started showing up, the nurses and doc kept checking on me to see if baby boy was ready! And about 7:00 pm doc came in and said we where going to do a practice push.. Well I barly pushed and she stared saying STOP! Baby was right there! Lol so then 8:15pm they got my legs up and began to push! Only an hour of pushing I had my health 7lbs 5.2oz baby boy!! I was so overwhelmed with happiness I kept looking and my husband, mom, sis, and my dad crying.
