Went in for my weekly exam, I'm currently 33+4 and my blood pressure was 143/92. The past few times I've gone in, it was boarderline 130's over 80's. It's gone up significantly since the start of my third trimester. Anyways, right away my doctor put me on high blood pressure meds and has me going in twice weekly for a non stress test and once weekly biophysical. I monitor my blood pressure at home and only take the medication when I see that my blood pressure is up, when I told my doctor this, she got upset and told me I need to take it twice daily as prescribed to me but if I take it that much my blood pressure goes down to low. At my weekly appointments everything is fine and I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I feel like maybe my doctor is trying to play it safe with me, but I don't like the fact that I'm on meds have to do multiple tests weekly because I happen to have high blood pressure one time. I don't know what to do.
