Any experience with maca root and endo?

I have read that the maca root can be more harmful than good for women with endometriosis, wondering if anyone has any experience with maca root either way?

I've started taking magnesium, and have been reading up on macs. I see a new doctor tomorrow and I plan on asking him about all of the supplements.
