Ovulating but still put on clomid why ?

Hello everyone I ovulate and I actually know when I'm ovulating because it hurts .. But my doctor still put me on clomid why ?

I'm in the same situation. I'm in clomid this cycle and I ovulate normally on my own. Because of clomid I got 3 developed follies when I O'd yesterday. ☺️

They could have gave it to you to make you ovulate stronger, like more eggs to increase the chance of you conceiving...

I was put on Clomid to regulate my period. Always ovulated but my cycle range was so great. Clomid narrowed it down to a more reliable range
