I think I felt my baby nudge/kick me at 17 weeks 1 day.

I was laying down feeling my baby move as it always does this late at night and I felt a pretty strong nudge to the left of my belly button. I wasn't so strong that it hurt, and if I were walking around not paying attention I may have not even noticed it. However it was strong enough to the point where it felt like my stomach moved. Just wondering if it was a kick or a punch or whatever?
