Clothes size?

I'm due July 14th so having a summer baba. I have lots of clothes but want some summer dresses etc for her. Do I get newborn or 0-3 months as the first few weeks we won't be out much and will be using grows?

The growth ultrasound is a rough estimate, the estimation can be off 2lb in eure direction. Anyway, I would get a few nb clothes ( 5 at least = 2 sleepers and 3 onesies). My  son was estimated to be 8lbs but was born less than a week later weighing 10lbs 7.9oz. He started off in size 1 diapers and 0-3, had to donate all his newborn clothes and we had alot. He is 9 weeks now and just went up to size 2 diapers and can fit comfortably in size 3-6 clothes without looking baggy. So it all depends, regardless you can always go buy more if you need it but returning is such  a pain.

Same problem here. I am due July 9. So far I have mostly bought 3 months since I keep hearing about babies who either never wore newborn clothes or only did so for a few days. Seems like a waste to buy a bunch of NB stuff. But who knows, maybe my baby will be smaller or born early and then we have hardly anything for her to wear... Or we will have to put her in stuff that's too large, I guess...

And yeah I have the same dilemma, I have seem so many clothes for baby girls but I'm still waiting for my next ultrasound to see how much pound she have gain...

I would def get some newborn sizes and some 0-3. My baby is going to be small based on her size now, I'm almost 33 weeks and she weighs just over 3 pounds. Have they to you how much your baby weighs? Most likely he or she will be in newborn at first, I mean even my niece who was 7pounds 11 ounces was in newborn for alittle while.
