What did you do to START LABOR?

Question

I've been walking on my birthing ball, having contractions some intense and some calm just pressure but some women go into labor so easily with castor oil , raspberry leaf tea, primrose oil etc... None of that has worked for me I'm due Monday and ready to give up what should I do I'm feeling anxious and I just wanna meet my baby already 😔

I tried absolutely everything and I'm not 11days overdue currently at the hospital having started the whole induction process. Honestly baby's come when they come and I don't believe there's anything you can do to help it. Though I would try lots of sex as sperm contains prostaglandin which softens your cervix and helps things significantly!!

I tried everything as well and I'm now 40 weeks + 6 days and go in on the 28th for an induction. I think the at home stuff will only work if your body is ready for you to go into labour!?!

At 37+4 I decorated the nursery all day, climbing up beds, hammering, drilling, then my water broke. :)

I went for a swim, had sex and ate chicken nuggets with super spicy bbq sauce and then my water broke

I am due Monday too! I definitely feel what you're feeling! Lol my husband is definitely ready. I may coax him into some sexy time tonight. The downside is sciatica. Very excruciating pain from that so he will probably be too worried about that. Kinda hope he comes during the weekend while he is home.

I don't know if this helped but I went and walked around Walmart for hours and then walked up and down stairs carrying a ton of groceries. I went into labor as soon as my hubby got home from work. I was in labor for 24 hours with 5 hours of pushing and baby girl came right on her due date! I really think all the walking and lifting stuff helped lol
