Why don't you use a menstrual cup?

A menstrual cup is a small cup made of medical grade silicone that is inserted into your vagina to collect menstrual fluid rather than absorb it. Tampons are made of horrible chemicals that absorb into your body, along with leaving fibers in your vagina. You can leave a menstrual cup in for 12+ hours because of its material.

I didn't have any issues with it at all. And I've never heard anything bad about it until this post. I used mine for the first time this weekend. I will never go back. I truly feel so much cleaner. I'm not sitting In a pad of blood nor do I have to stick cotton up there. I didn't have any leakage. It's amazing!

The thought just wigs me out, honestly. Pads wit me out as well. And it it took years after my very first period, to even try tampons

I gave them a good try, almost always made a mess, and I already hate the feeling of fingers in my batcave. No problems leaking, but when you're forced to come out of a stall with bloody fingers....no thank you.

I want to try one, but I have a heavy period AND I'm a virgin. I know it can't take my virginity, that's not the issue. It's that I'm super tight and even tampons are uncomfortable to me. I like the Instead soft-cups,but I can't use them on my heavy days. Too much leaking. Truthfully, I wished I didn't have a period at all.

Why don't you use a menstrual cup?
