Pregnant or period ??

Soo I'm a week late on my period. I've been having nipple soreness , my boos are feeling tender and a little heavy &' I've been experiencing sharp pains on my right side and cramps. I NEVER have sore nipples/boobs before I get my period which is why I'm hoping for my bfp. Today when I went to wipe after I used the restroom I noticed blood on the tissue ( TMI ) I thought it was my period but when I put on a panty liner &' used the restroom later on I noticed that it was brown. I'm a little confused , what should I do ..
