I'm 18 and covered by my parents' insurance. However, it is my stepmom insurance. My dad has had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery (10 day stay), a carotid artery surgery (2 days), 2 seizures (4 day stay), and a ministroke (3 day stay). These are all very expensive. I am unemployed and have a few medical conditions that require me to stay up to date with doctors appointments. Would I be able to get a medicaid card? I live in Ohio, with my parents for now. If I can get a job I'd like to move out. Would I be able to get one then? I HATE putting more stress on my dad and I'm in line to get a job next month. Does anyone know about this or know where I can get info?
