Prenatal pills?

Do prenatal pills help when TTC? Or just during pregnancy?  If they help what do they do/help with? Is it best to take the one with or without HCG?

I don't know of any prenatal vitamins that contain HCG? HCG is a natural pregnancy hormone or it can come in the form of a synthetic hormone used to "trigger" ovulation (available
only woth a prescription).  Doctors suggest taking prenatal vitamins while TTC because by the time you test positive you would be 4 weeks along or more and prenatal vitamins provide the necessary folic acid for brain stem/spinal cord development that happens in those very early weeks.

You want to be as healthy as possible while TTC and I would say that prenatal vitamins would help very much with that! Also, prenatal vitamins are very important for preventing neural tube defects which would happen before you even find out you're pregnant, so go ahead and start taking them regularly - both for your own health and the health and safety of any future little ones. ☺️ Btw, mine turn my pee neon yellow, which is completely normal and nothing to be worried about.
