How did you catch the cheating bastard?

Anyone down to share stories on how you all caught you ex/husband/boyfriend ? What gave them away? A text? Did he confess? Did you forgive him?

I found texts in his phone from his ex who he claimed to be a psychotic stalker which I came to believe because she truly was obsessed. Why I didn't know was that she wa obsessed with him because he was still sleeping with her 3 years later I finally ended it. So should have ended it sooner as she was still very much a part of his life 3years on. Now i am very happily married to a loyal wonderful man :)))
​My biggest mistake was to put up with it for so long. Why? Because I "loved" him. Sometimes you're better off breaking your own heart then having someone else do it over & over again.

I was checking my email but his was logged in. Saw he was a member of 2 gay sites. Called him out and he admitted to being gay. Married me only to lie and as a front...4 years wasted.

So there use to be a website called myyearbook and my ex asked me to "buy" him on there which is kinda weird but whatever. Anyways I did go to do that but I noticed a comment on there from a girl named faith who was saying I love you baby so glad we are together... Wait what? Thought maybe it is an old comment until I saw it was posted a few hours prior and on her page he was tagged as her boyfriend. So I confronted him and he broke down and said that they "were" just sleeping together but she said they were dating a month before we did. I didn't cry I just stayed calm and level which apparently was bad for him.. Anyways it took until we were together seven months to get him to call it officially quits with her bc he didn't want to hurt her feeling or something .then a year later I found out after our first time he had sex with her one more time . Then I found a message on his phone that popped up when I was taking it to get fixed about him in a bar dancing with a girl and if he got her number .. Then I found emails about him being on dating sites. Then on our two year anniversary he somehow got a strippers number while we were in New Orleans and was talking to her!! Now I understand I was stupid for staying as long as I did but I guess I thought he would grow up it wasn't until his dui that I realized he wasn't when he told me I was coming to see him every week and if I didn't want to use my gas he would pay me to come see him and I said I WAS ur girlfriend not an escort service and  that was it good riddance . My boyfriend now is the best and faithful. Moral of the story if he acts shady he is shady

My stupid ex went on fbook on my phone then my phone died! I had no charger as left at my sisters! You can imagine my suprise when I charged my phone! Messages back and forth to his ex! (Nice)!
 Best thing was I managed to wait a whole two days till pay day! Took all the rent and bill money sent him on his merry way! Then I packed his bags but not without forgetting to put  the earwigs In all his pockets and loft insulation rubbed over every single pair of his boxers and trousors ha ha!

A few days after the engagement ring he bought me I sold that and gave him a cheap ring, smashed it up and said here engagement ring, he knee instantly it wasn't the one. I was working three overnights a week Sunday Tuesday Wednesday he was usually home before I left to watch the kids one Sunday he was not home yet around the time I had to leave called him and he said he would be home in an hour (my kids are 13&12) so I told the kids I have to ho but he will be here soon my daughter called at 11:30pm to tell me he was not home yet I text and called him for three hours before he responded said he was stuck because it was snowing really bad but there was no snow by me or in middle field (where he was) according to the weather well the phones were in my name so I checked who he had been calling and texting and there was one number allot so I called her she denied knowing him no way she didn't know him found out she knew him by mike and not his real name changed the locks and kicked him out found out a week later that I was pregnant so we were trying to work through it a month later I found him on four dating sites and found all kinds of photos on his google+ account found a Facebook of his under a different name so I finally realized he will never change officially called off the wedding and told him I'm done well found out he's now sleeping in his truck because the second girl he was cheating with that he moves in with (after two weeks of dating when I kicked him out the second time) didn't know about me or the baby found texts from him to me trying to come back and asking about the baby kicked him out now he's trying to come back still but at the same time new pics of her are popping up on his google+ account

I talked to her, and we were civilised. She stayed with him, I broke it off. He later cheated on her with other girls and the cycle still goes on. I was his first gf, so I feel like I must not have been good enough that he felt the need to keep looking.. And looking... And looking.

So he started a long distance relationship with a chick in New York whilst with me.
