I have done 5 cycles of clomid, One cycle of femara(I think), and nothing for the last two months(trying to lose weight). My Dr. Is really nice and so far has been my favorite. I trust her but I am moving out of state in like 3months. It would be nice to get my BFP while here so I don't have to find a dr. to continue what my current one started. She says if I don't get a BFP in the next three months that she wants to switch to something else. My first two cycles of clomid didn't work. My third my progesterone level was high enough. The last two cycles of clomid I wasn't able to have the blood work done so we don't know. Then we switched to the femara. I didn't ovulate on that. The last two months I have been on a diet pill so far lost 15lbs. I have an appointment on the 10th and she thinks we are going to go back to the highest dosage of clomid. Has anyone else gone through this many cycles and had it work? Should I ask to go to the next step early or keep trusting my dr.? I am also on metformin.
