Tampons?

Hey all, I had a miscarriage and passed all the clots yesterday. Can I start using tampons with the bleeding?

No. You could end up with an really bad infection. My doctors told me absolutely no tampons.

I was told to wait 3 weeks before having sex, and wait a full cycle before using tampons

Doctor told me no sex or anything in the vagina (tampons included) for 3 weeks. And can't try again (sex without a condom) for 3 more weeks. 6 weeks total. Totally sucks. This is the first time I've bought pads...ever.

Nothing inside vagina until see doc again (hopefully within 2 weeks). I've ready that sex is ok as long as the bleeding has been done for several days. But no to tampons.

Sorry about your loss. I was also told no tampons because of the risk of infection.

I wouldn't. You want toake sure everything is out. Your body needs to heal.
