Do you bike there are girl and boy colors?

The other night my boyfriends little brother said he loved the color pink. I thought nothing of this, it's just a color after all but my boyfriend was concerned about it...his brother said "there are no such things as girl or boy colors." I loved that he said that!

When I was little I was mad because everything for boys was blue and everything for girls was pink or red. I love the color blue and I felt like I couldn't have anything blue because it was for boys. Then in 3rd grade I met a kid who's favorite color was hot pink. He wasn't gay (looking back now, at least I don't think he is) and I was glad to see someone else breaking the blue for boys pink for girls "rules" lol!

My husband's favorite color is purple, my favorite color is red & I'm pretty sure for now that my daughter's favorite color is green. They're all just colors, anyone can like any color they want & it says nothing about their gender or sexuality.

Wait. No. I meant no. A color is just a color. If a boy wants something pink then cool. If a girl what's something green then cool. I think people are more likely to think of females when the color pink is mentioned but that doesn't mean boys can't have pink colored things
