Does water make you gag?

Im trying to drink more water but it's very difficult because if I drink too much, which can be anywhere from half a glass to a full glass, I physically gag. It freaks me out and it's very frustrating. Does this happen to anyone else? And does anyone have advice or tips on the subject?

Depends on where it comes from, how clean it is, and what it's kept in.

I find it easier to drink more water if I drink it through a straw.. I don't know why but it works for me.

I either use flavor packets or fill it with ice. I'm always dehydrated because drinking enough water makes me feel sick even though nothing else does and I like the taste of water! It has to be tap water though. If I make it really cold it seems to be 183784486 times easier to drink.

There is soda flavored water, but forgot what it's called. Besides that, gradually drink more water --dont force yourself too much. Cut back on whatever you are slowly.  And try other drinks, like juice and tea. Have you tried putting fruit in your water? I personally dont like it, but many other people do and prefer to drink water that way.

Are you drinking tap water? It's quite unhealthy

Use crystal light fruit punch flavor! That's how I drink my water...it's better than nothing
