Hcg? Kind of worried

I got blood work yesterday at 4w3d and it came back as 161. In August I had a ruptured ectopic and at the same time I was at 104.7. Really scared this could be another ectopic...I go back for blood work on Thursday so hopefully it increases significantly.

That's a good number for 4 weeks!! Just keep monitoring it to make sure it doubles.

Well at this stage your hcg should be doubling.  Your number is about right for 4 weeks.  However should be doubling about every 48 to 72 hours or so.  So if they check them again in a couple days you should be between 350-400.  Also you might have ovulated a couple days later and could be 4 weeks vs. 4w 3d.  All I can say is try not to stress.  Stress can make things worse.

I am sorry for your loss. If you don't mind me asking how far along were you when you found out you had an ectopic.  I had a miscarraige in January and now 4w6d and had a blood test yesterday with HCG at 78 and progesterone at 15.9.  I am scared of my levels but the dr said it was ok and to test again next Tuesday to verify.  I think your levels are in normal range.  Hopefully we both see doubled numbers soon.
