Whats your opinion on Nexplanon implant BC?

I'm wanting to try this. But I'm really worried and paranoid about weight gain or it breaking. I need people with experience to tell me how it worked for them

Ive had this the Nexaplon and the Implanon that the older one. I loved it for the first year. Period free no issues what so ever. Ony issue is after ive had it for a year my body changes and doesnt like it anymore. So i get it out for a couple months and start over.

It worked great for me for 2 years. I still had regular periods during that time frame. After 2 years something changed and then i gained 30lbs in 1 month and started getting my period every 2 wks. After going through that for 4 months i finally got it removed in April. Since then i have not been able to get pregnant. I'm not trying but not preventing.

My sister got it yesterday! So far so good. It's not irritating her at all and she says that insertion was a breeze!

A good friend of mine has it and loves it. She stopped getting periods, didn't gain weight, isn't having crazy mood swings. Her boobs grew a while cup size, too!

It's different for everyone, so of course some people will have bad experiences. If you want to try it, go for it. You can always get it removed if you hate it! Good luck
